Introduction

Typing Fingers is an official venture of Foriero Group that develops typing games for kids. It is a type-learning app that helps children and beginners develop and improve their keyboarding skills. They offer typing education that teaches keyboarding without the unwanted stress of heavy tutorials. The app imparts typing education through fun games and interactive lessons in 7 different languages.

The Target Market

The company targets the education sector, specially the homeschooling students across the globe.

The Goal
TF had consulted Atlas SoftWeb with specific objectives in mind. It’s requirements from this SEO project were:

Final Takeaway

For Webpage: Atlas SoftWeb was quick to understand the client expectations. We conducted a cohesive keyword research, planning and targeting and optimized the entire site structure. Along with On-site optimization, we conducted off-site optimization activities like Blogger Outreach and Email Campaigns.

For App: After deep analysis we came up with a new set of keywords for the app. We then conducted debugging measures and optimization of visual elements. We gained more organic users and downloaders who could easily discover the app in the different app stores.
Over a period of 4 months of continuous on-page and off-page SEO activities, beginning from 1st Feb to 31st May, we saw huge improvements in traffic and app downloads.

Result

Over a period of 4 months of continuous on-page and off-page SEO activities, beginning January 2014 to April 2014, we saw huge improvements in traffic.

The graph below shows the comparison of and improvement in the overall traffic (Direct + Referral + Organic) between the time durations of January 2014 – April 2014 and September 2013 – December 2013.


As the graph above clearly indicates, we saw traffic and footfalls to the site increase by over 330% in a short span of 4 months.

Though 4 months is a very short duration for a website to rank in highly competitive keywords, the rankings also improved considerably. The website now ranked in the top 20 search results for 24 out of the 30 target keywords related to coupons.

In addition, the website started ranking in Top 5 search results for thousands of long tail product keywords which resulted in massive growth in organic traffic. That was a significant achievement given inspite of the website not being fully indexed when we initially received the project.
