The Institute of Technology, Nirma University is a leading Technological institute in India. The Institute is ranked 136 by the National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF-2019) making its mark amongst four thousand plus engineering colleges in the country. With the various programmes at ITNU, you develop your creativity and problem-solving skills through courses like Design Thinking, Critical Thinking, ICT Tools, Cyber Security, Yoga & Meditation, Ethics & Values, Applied Literature and many more.

Despite their prime popularity, they were not seen for specific keywords in the search engine results. That’s where the digital marketing company Atlas SoftWeb helped increase the exposure of search engines.

The SEO had vanished with the old website which resulted in their website being absent from the top topic-relevant keyword searches. They lost potential applicants as a result.

By being in discussion with the client Atlas SoftWeb came up with a well-run organic search campaign for the College to catch up with its competitors and other digital marketing strategies to be put in place to ensure that the institution sees a return on its investment.

Atlas SoftWeb studied extensively the online presence of top competitors of the University. We then systematically developed a list of keywords to use for optimizing the organic search process and introduced an all-new SEO strategy.

We had to redo all the new keywords and Google indexing again with the new website so the campaigns have on-site, offsite posts for various social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram using which we increase our reach to the people. Other strategies such as blog related to the audience and related keyword searches gave the chance to push traffic back to the website.

Atlas SoftWeb also recommended that the consumer invest in paid search campaigns and purchase online media to catch and grow market penetration. Results have been closely tracked and used to tweak and boost campaign path.


From the year 2019, the new changes were made and Institute of Technology, Nirma University experienced a tremendous increase in organic search rankings. They went from not displaying within relevant keyword search at all to gaining an average search result in top 10 listings for popular and unique keyword searches on the major search engines.

The company also invested in paid campaign and an online media advertising to boost this success which in return further improved the promotions.
Together with ITNU staff, Atlas SoftWeb analysts were able to assess which prospective students applied online and enrolled as a direct result of organic and paid search activities, by using the number of applicants and enrolment figures as a measure for performance. We then monetize the data to determine a return on the investment of the client. As a matter of fact, our Digital marketing strategy helped in admissions that was record breaking compared to the trend seen over the last three years.
