The Overview
The COVID-19 situation has taken the online shopping world by a storm. With more and more customers shopping online than ever, it has become increasingly important for ecommerce businesses to be on their toes with various functionalities and features.
And Sharethelovely.com project is no different!
They chose Atlas SoftWeb to develop a full-fledged ecommerce website with unique features and to give the customers an experience they had never seen before. The client’s goal was to give a platform to the sellers or someone who is looking to sell their wedding dress, accessories online, and a platform to buyers who are searching for budget friendly wedding dresses online.

Project Background and Description
Sharethelovely.com a multi-sided resale marketplace that provides consumers and the industry a range of sustainable products and services for fairytale weddings at a fraction of the cost in an omni-channel environment. They’re ThredUp meets StitchFix meets Uber where “BrideShare” is the new “Rideshare”!
It allows women to create authentic, inspiring and unique wedding experiences without feeling heavy on the pocket or taxing the environment.
Our Challenges
The client considers Atlas to be a critical part of her vision and her requirements. The project demanded strategic planning and solutions with the right foundation that would scale in the future. The old website was outdated and was built on Shopify that did not meet the unique requirements of the client.
Project Goals and Objectives
The team at Atlas along with the client went through many initial requirement meetings to determine the scope including the integrations with Webkul marketplace Zoho, Paypal, Klarna, Mailchimp, QR code, GoShippo, Return solutions, Dynamic Size/Fit solutions, and many more.
The clients goals and objectives were as follows:
- Feature Vendor Widget
- Featured Marketplace Sellers Widget by Geo Area
- Product Detail Page – UP to 10 photos of each item
- Individual listing on different social platforms & Amazon
- Ship to Store (Try Before Buy) & Payment
- Calendar to select for Try Before you buy functionality
- Fitting details
- Show and select the name of the stores within their area of choice.
- A calendar date appointment
- Consignor – Account Dashboard & Admin setup
The Process and Insight
A dedicated team of a Project Manager, Project Head, Sr. Web Developer (Certified), Sr. Designer, Shadow Resource and QA were assigned to the project.
We have had one to two dedicated meetings per week as we all deemed necessary but when more were needed Atlas was always available. The project manager was always in communication when needed. If there were any concerns, we always got right on a call to help relieve concerns and come up with solutions.
With each ecommerce project there are chances that certain requirements may change or add anytime. So when the client required a few extra functionalities and additional requirements during the development phase we took it on our shoulders and completed on time as well.

Final Takeaway
After a lot of brainstorming and understanding the requirements of the client, we recommended migrating the website from Shopify to Magento 2. We integrated the website with new extensions that would serve the purpose and goals of the client. We always tried our best to find new ways or develop a plugin to meet the desires of the client. Not only did we help the client with their requirements, but we were present 24*7 through Clubhouse.io, Google Suite, Skype.
The Results
Having almost completed the project, we are launching and in the final QA process. But with a dedicated and a committed team, dedicated to detail and success, has made it a good experience overall. With our way of working, the client trusts the team and looks forward to moving forward on other projects, including SEO, Marketing, and our next phases of development.
Hear it from the client:
“I have worked with many consultants and outsourced teams throughout my career, and many like to say they are your “partner”. The term has been overused, but I can truly say the Atlas team is not just our partner, they feel like family. I will always look to them for advice and hope they will continue to work with the business as it grows.
They have gone above and beyond and seem to want success for the business as much as I do. I hope to have the opportunity to show my level of gratitude to them one day. Part of what keeps me going and getting past all the hurdles a startup encounters is for the Atlas team as well, so we can continue building the business successfully together.
I can’t say I have any issues or concerns. I can thankfully say I would not change a thing. They are true partners, on time, on budget, never give up, patient, and great skill. I don’t think I could ask for more.” Read the detailed review of the client here.
