About The Client
Ascella Consulting Sdn Bhd first started out in Singapore as Ascella Coating Consulting, which was established in 2004 out of the need to support paint and chemical manufacturers improve their operations and to develop safer chemical products for consumer use. While working with these chemical manufacturers, Ascella Consulting realised that their contribution to the clients was not just in improving their technical processes, but also helping them become more profitable, accountable and effective.
Atlas SoftWeb worked with Ascella Consulting as their web development and maintenance team. We have been in association since July 2018. The Ascella Consulting business website was fixed and is now up and running efficiently.
Due to issues with their in-house web designer, the project was not executed properly. Apparently, it all seemed fine until they found things that didn’t meet their requirements. Later, a bug reverted on the website to an older WordPress version that didn’t reflect the current image of their company. Atlas SoftWeb and Ascella Consulting worked together to revamp the website as per the original plan.
Ascella Consulting needed a website development company that could help them fix bugs and get the website running as they wanted in the first place. There were some major challenges with this project:
- Drive traffic toward the website.
- Bug fixes.
- Website platform change.
- Clean the server to prevent any future bugs.
- Improve functionality and usability.
- Lack of quality traffic.
Atlas SoftWeb makes your website adjust real time to your customer’s devices and also offers the best look and feel of the websites. With Ascella Consulting, we worked hard to get the website back online, with all the corrections and updates that were required.
- We removed Old WordPress website and cleaned the Server
- Uploaded the new website in PHP version source code provided by client
- We customized the website
- Performed an SEO audit for the website
- We kept security of the website in mind due to spamming inquiries of old website

How did you select Atlas SoftWeb?
We originally looked for vendors on Freelancer. Atlas SoftWeb was the only one who took the initiative to actively seek us out and lobby for the project. Their prices were also reasonable, and they took the time to properly explain to us what was required of the project and the steps needed to get it done.
Can you add some details about the services Atlas provided and the scope of the project?
Their scope was to restore our website back to the PHP version, remove all traces of the older WordPress website from our servers, and revamp and update several pages of the website back to our specifications.
What was more important to us was that they finished the work on schedule and that the corrections and adjustments needed to the system were handled quickly.
What was the team composition like?
We dealt only with Akash Thakkar (Senior Business Development Manager, Atlas SoftWeb). I have no idea who else was supporting him in this project.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
Our website is now back up and running and displaying the current marketing literature. The team also fixed the typos and errors that were left behind by the previous web designer.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
We had frequent updates from Akash, who was able to accommodate my traveling schedule. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the way that the project was managed.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Their work is quite clean and was delivered on time. Akash took the time to properly explain what the available options were and how best to move forward with the project.
Are there any areas where they can improve?
I don’t see where they could improve their services. They should keep up the good work.
“Thanks to their involvement, the website is now running smoothly, without any of its previous problems. Their frequent updates, willingness to adapt, shifting schedules, and issue-free deliverables boosted the collaboration’s overall success.”
